Tux Friday

A tuxedo from The Tuxedo Gallery.

This year Prom is coming up really fast. “Men, are you prepared?”

Usually the first questions that come into your mind are, “Who am I going to go with?” or, “How am I going to ask her to Prom?” But the question is,  “Are you ready?”

If you don’t know what you are going to wear yet you could always go looking over spring break. According to Business Insider the Spring 2016 suit trends are suits of color. The suits in color provide a way to add color, while still retaining a conservative look. Another suit trend this year is a more loose fit for the jacket. With the looser jacket fit, less of a “V-shape” will be coming down from the bottom. The pants are a little less slim this year, and less ankle will show. You can check out The Tuxedo Gallery  on 1414 4th St, Santa Rosa for a variety of suits. Just in case it doesn’t fit properly you can get it tailored at Elegant Alterations, Tailoring & Tuxedo Rental on  231 N McDowell Blvd, Petaluma.

Corsages are to be bought for your date as well. A place to be checked out is The Winding Rose Florist & Gifts on 52 Mission Circle #124 in Santa Rosa. You go to their website on Google and choose which corsage you would like to give to your date. After you have chosen, you call (707) 539-6140  to order it.

Valentino’s Barber Lounge’s flyer

Most barbers have mentioned that men are starting to prefer longer, layered, textured cuts, versus the short cuts. The most popular cuts are the comb over low fade, burst fade, and taper fade with designs. For a fresh cut visit
Valentino’s Barber Lounge on 7500 Commerce Blvd, Cotati. Barbers Garage on 6469 Redwood Dr. in Rohnert Park is also a great place to go. To make an appointment or ask for prices, call (707) 843-3921.

Don’t let Prom catch you by surprise!
